Thats not the first time he's done really well againt the Sox either. I think the Kazmir trade was the worst trade anyone has made in the past few years. Did Minaya actually think the Mets were gonna make a playoff run at that point last year?

It wasn't Omar Minaya..he was still in Montreal at the time. It was Jim Duquette who was the GM and he made that idiotic trade. I dont think fans will ever forgive him for trading Kazmir for Zambroken.

Speaking of Zambroken..he pitches tomorrow as the Mets try to sweep the Nats. Livan Hernandez pitches as well.

Disappointing loss for the Mets today against John Smoltz. Pedro gave up 3 runs in the 1st inning and another run later on. The Mets made it interesting in the 9th against Dan Kolb who looks really hittable for a closer but in the end the Mets lost 4-3.

Tomorrow its Glavine vs Hampton and Glavine always stinks up the joint against his former team. <sigh>
