Tom "has been" Horrific is just total garbage. I hate Glavine and I think he is freakin DONE. He is competing with Zambroken in the category "most walks allowed" and the moron NEVER adjusts to the strikezone..he is ALWAYS trying to hit the extreme corners of the plate and he never gets it.

Now Jose Reyes had a costly error and also let a ball he usually gets past him get away with both plays allowing the Phillies to score...but you know what.. so damn what.. Glavine was just awful on the mound. His ERA will probably be past 6.00 by the time the game is over. I really hope his 4th year option doesnt fall through cause I dont want to see Tom Horrific wearing a Mets uniform anymore.

As of the end of tonights loss Glavine's ERA is now 7.04 ...sparkling...

The 30-year-old lefty gave up two runs, two hits and two walks in one-third of an inning on the mound in Long Island's 2-1 loss to the Atlantic City Surf in the second game of a doubleheader.

As Rocker left the field, Dave Macken of Atlantic City, a Surf fan sitting near the visitors dugout, yelled, ``It's a long way from Atlanta.''


Rocker replied, ``I'm still a millionaire'' and followed with a profanity,'' Macken told The Press of Atlantic City. Macken said the two then exchanged profanities.

Rocker recalled the exchange differently. ``Call me what you want, but don't start cussing at me like that,'' he was quoted as telling the paper. ``That's just wrong.''

Rocker, who dropped to 0-2, entered with a 1-0 lead in the fifth and loaded the bases on two singles and a walk. He walked Raul Marval with the bases loaded, forcing in the tying run, and gave up a go-ahead sacrifice fly to Jose Velazquez.

The former Atlanta reliever is most well-known for remarks he made in a 1999 interview with Sports Illustrated in which he bashed gays, minorities and foreigners.

Rocker last pitched in the major leagues for Tampa Bay in 2003. He had surgery for a torn rotator cuff in July of that year and did not pitch last season.

The Ducks play in the independent Atlantic League.

I feel terrible for the Astros pitching staff, the only time the Astros can hit is when they're behind 8 runs, but when they're shutting the team out, the Astros can't fucking hit.

Jae Seo was fantastic tonight...too bad he may be sent down later as Kris Benson will start tomorrow afternoon. At least he's made a great impression so far this season and knows he'll be back if something goes wrong.

Cliff Floyd is just a monster! A huge homerun for Cliffy and a great catch that took away a homer from Michaels.

Braden Looper did his usual GARBAGE with back to back homers in the 9th.. I swear.. I am sick of this second-tier trash of a closer. Blooper should be replaced by Roberto Hernandez.

Piazza hit 2 monster homers as the Mets beat the Brewers.


Yankees lost their 4th in a row this time to the Oakland A's. Zito pitched very well. Mariano doesn't look the same to me..granted the defense behind him failed him but he doesn't look like the intimidating pitcher he used to be. He used to mow everyone down silly with his cutter but he's not doing that now and walks more batters.

Yanks HAVE to win the next two games...if they get swept by the A's and George's horse craps out at the Kentucky Derby then expect an eruption from Mt. Steinbrenner.
