Zambrano's got that special something, Peterson can fix him. Remember, he said so himself! Any day now he's going to pitch 3 perfect games in a row after Peterson lifts his arm slot by 3.4 centimeters and then you're going to thank God (Rick Peterson) himself for kicking Scott Kazmir out the door. Here's a statistic nobody is paying attention to: when was the last time a pitcher named after a song by Led Zeppelin turned out to be great? Exactly, never. I'm dissapointed in you Ray, you usually keep up to date on stats.

..oh..by the way.. Aaron Heilman's new found success (however long it will last) was not due to Mr. Pitching Guru either.. it was bullpen coach Guy Conti who saw old Notre Dame video and made Heilman go back to his old stance and use his change up more. Peterson was not doing his homework.
Hehehe. Yeah, come on, Ray, you're supposed to be a Mets fan over here.Quote:

Anyway, as I'm writing this, both New York teams have the same record and both Los Angeles teams have the same record. Odd coincidence.
Indians bats are starting to warm up ... it's not even 40 games in, and it may be too late. :(
The wild card team is coming from the Central. The East is going to beat each other up and only have 90-95 wins. Whereas the Central team will have a 100 game winner, and a high 90's runner up.
Sucks for the East.
The East is 16-11 against the Central (Drays excluded, cuz they suck) ut the Central will win wild card? Not happening.Quote:

So the subway series matchup will most likely be:
Friday - Zamboozled vs Brown
Saturday - Benson vs Big Unit
Sunday - Pedro vs Pavano? Wang??
Aaron Hielman will be a backup in case someone stinks up the joint and Kaz Ishii could pitch for Pedro if he cant make his sunday start.. I dont like this one damn bit.
That's my point. The East IS stronger than the Central. Since you play 19 games against your division foes (which accounts for 76 games total) ... it makes the East's strength of schedule THAT much harder. In years past ... it was all Boston and NY. So they could both coast to 100/97 win seasons.Quote:

It's still early .. we will see.
Go back to the Barrett avatar please.Quote:
