Hey there are other teams in baseball. Lets talk about them.
Everyone but people in New york seemed to accept this was gonna happen. Now that you've caught up to the rest of us, can we stop talking about the bad guys.

I wonder when "The Boss" is gonna realize that the 2005 Yankees just arent that good of a ballclub, especially in the competitive AL East.
And how about that NL East? I said all along, if the Mets win 85 games this year Ill be happy, but in that division 85 games will be a great achievement.
Yanks lost to the Brew Crew last night. Randy Johnson wasn't dominant but he "kept his team in the game"..what bullshit. I would be furious with the unit if I were a Yankees fan. Now admittedly the Yanks blew a great opportunity when they had the bases loaded with no outs in one inning..they didn't even score one run.
Mets sign former Reds pitcher Danny Graves and the Reds will pay the money owed on his contract. The Mets would just have to pay a pro-rated major league minimum salary so this signing is very low risk for the Mets. He can't be any worse than Manny Aybar or Mike DeJean so its a good move by the Mets. Worse thing that happens is he stinks up the joint and just gets released by the Mets and they would just pay some low minimum salary.

In his first draft as Dodgers scouting director, Logan White took Fowler (Colo.) High righthander Luke Hochevar in the 39th round. Los Angeles wasn't able to sign Hochevar away from the University of Tennessee, and at the time White said, "He'll be a first-rounder in three years." Not only did that prediction come true, but White's club made it happen by taking Hochevar 40th overall. Hochevar, considered one of the top two college pitching prospects for most of the year, took a late nosedive in the draft. He didn't finish the season at his best, and when the Rockies gave up yesterday after two days of trying to see if they could avoid a lengthy negotiation with adviser Scott Boras, several other teams decided to pass as well

Its about time the Dodgers' front office made a good move.
Well, Pedro took a no-no into the seventh inning tonight and wound up pitching another complete game. Willie Randolph is making the Red Sox look like idiots for their mismanagement of Martinez' pitch count.
I think part of the equation to is that he's now pitching in the NL, and really loving it.Quote:

Sheets pitched nasty tonight, too.
