once again you're personal issues with me derail your ability to have any kind of open discussion regarding a topic. so instead of this turning into the usual cluster fuck that tnl is known for...someone should create a thread for the game(s) discussion as we can discuss it's merits/lack thereof and keep this thread available for discussion revovling around the movie.

i'll be the last to come down on anybody for liking them because i can see why most would (the story) but to me the series has always felt like a 2nd rate hack job. the combat is abysmal, and yes most would say "the focus isn't on the combat and the control (or lack of) adds to the suspense" but if you really need to have jacked ass controls/combat to make your product suspensfull it's not for me. there are redeming parts to the games, and the series as a whole to me but that's just it. parts.

can't wait for the movie though. i have to say if they have a distinct lack of action this movie will bomb at the box office, so i hope they at least have ennough to keep the action junkies satisfied without going too far away from the source.
