Maybe in your world there are not. Maybe you fail to see true creativity amongst people. People who do not follow the croud etc. Like I said I am neither period. You don't even know me as a person to have 1/2% qualification to judge me on that anyway... :rolleyes:

Did I say I was trying to be original with those theories? Nope...

And I'll smile all I want cause in life most people dont anyway... :)

My point in saying that there is no original though has to deal with the "moderate" "liberal" and "conservative" is that these three groupings of idealogy pretty much cover all the bases and it's impossible to not be associated with them, unless you're brain-dead and don't think at all.

No, Gohron is right. You can't create any new ideas from out of the blue, Marxism derived from David Ricardo's economic theories, David Ricardo's theories are based on Adam Smith's economic theories, Adam Smith's theories derived from Baron de Montesquieu's etc, etc.

All we do, is absorb information, remix and mutate it, then spit it back. We can create by adding insight to old information or combining different information, but you can never create something out of nothing.

The strange thing in that is that where did the idea's come from for us to use them? Someone had or has to be original at a given point or on an idea. Otherwise most people would not be able to use other people's idea's and spawn from them new ones.

I get what our saying though.

Horseshit- if thinking differently equals 10th grade logic I'll gladly take that over FoxNewspeak. The terms 'Liberal' and 'Conservative' weren't even taken seriously in the context of political discourse until Reagan's propoganda machine.
They are just a step above 'left' and 'right.'

People come up with ideas as soceity evolves to give them something to have a new idea about. Society changes according to the new ideas, if it finds them to be valid. They help each other grow and build on each other.

Our species has existed for like 195,000 years at the most, and our recorded culture goes back like 50,000 years. That's a lot of time for many brains to build upon on our knowledge, I'm not saying you can't create new information period; I am saying that you are limited to only building from currently existing knowledge.

It has nothing to do with "thinking differently", I was commenting on his application of ideas mostly. Also, the terms Liberal and Conservative have been around and been used for a very long time, probably since the Rennascience, although their application and direct meaning have altered a little bit, however "Conservative" and "Liberal" have nothing to do with "Left" or "Right" even though most people associate Conservative with Right and Liberal with Left. A very good example is the fact that I'm extremely Conservative however I fall under the Left-Wing Conservative classification.
