Very nice. Well I also liked original ZOE game, even with annoying voice acting of the lead :), and looking forward the sequel. I thought that air mech battles were fun, and even if they were repetative, I still had fun playing it.
Demo of MGS Substance would be nice :)
I loved ZOE. I'll be getting 2. I didn't know it was cell-shaded until today. SmileBit - you have created a monster.
I think it's a mixture of both (i.e. polygon with some cel-shading), I'm not 100% sure though...:)Quote:

I loved ZOE to death, but was pissed at the ending- just like everyone else. Hopefully, this one wont leve the players with a feeling of emptiness. Cel-shading is my favorite graphical trick ever.

FYI: Sorry, small caveat of mine. It's "cel-shaded", not "cell-shaded". That's "cel" as in "animation cel", not as in "tiny microorganism cell".
It's not cel-shaded. What you are seeing are very flat looking textures. Some bump-mapping will solve this.
Anyway, ZOE blew and unless they deepen the fighting engine ALOT and toughen the enemies so you they can't beat beaten with the same two strategies then I might be halfway interested again. Of course, thats just the fighting engine, they'll still need to give us a decent story, better overall game design,pump up the graphics(Still looks only 1 step above last generation PSx stuff), a real ending, some decent legnth, and take out the scavenger hunt sections. In other words, redo the entire game but keep the battle camera, I liked that...
