Awesome! 'Bout time Taito returned to their cute platformer/Bubble Bobble roots.
Just because its 2D doesnt mean its good. My money's on this being junk.
Its one thing to be 2d .. its another to have shitty artwork.
It looks nothing like Bubble Bobble ... it looks like anime inspired Athena.
Who knows, maybe it will play great .. and I can eat my words.
Never said it was, though it was ported from a cell phone game. I'd be surprised if you're wrong.Quote:

>_< Aww. It's cute. It looks about 50 million times better than the cell phone version, though with one screen there's not much too see. :\ i like the girl.
I've been wanting to see arcade action/platformers come back for awhile, but I might have to keep waiting. This a) almost certainly won't be released here, and b) honestly doesn't look that great. Even 2D stuff that's 15 years old like Pu-Li-Ru-La looks better than this.
Who knows, maybe this game has a fun catch to it.
Why not make all new 2D platformers? Most of the old ones aren't perfect and I'm sure there's more that can be done with the genre if only they try.
Pu-Li-Ru-La's animation is incredible (for its time, and now), but I don't know if it looks better than this though.Quote:
