Apparently, this is swarming the news on the east coast. This crazy is actually threatening to eat this bunny unless he gets 50k before June 30. Psycho much? It's been stated that people have already paypal'ed him over $13,000 already. Scandalous!

My sis and I were talking about this as well (she was the one who told me about it. Apparently she donated. lol) and the news said that this isn't theoretically illegal, since he will be using the bunny for consumption purposes. If he were to say "murder" the bunny, it would be a different story, but to eat... he's pretty safe.
