I don't see it that way. I think the people that don't have all 3 machines suffer a little but the games will be the best they can be if the developer focuses on 1 platform instead of all 3.

I used to be against exclusivity as well, but if all games were on all consoles, I don't think E3 would be nearly as compelling as it is.

Competition is great for the industry.

Someone on this board (Mr_Furious, perhaps) said that the only way to be a truly happy gamer was to own ALL new consoles. While I don't necessarily agree with that 100%, (I only have time to keep up with one console, and I'm more than happily occupied w/my PS2) if you do have the time, you're going to miss out unless you've got em all.

Exclusives are what makes one system more appealing than another. As it should be.

Nonsense. I'll be happy with just a GameCube and my 7 other "dead" systems that I still play.

exclusives are what make a system

and besides making a game exclusive means they can take advantage of different things that the different systems can do instead of being tailored to one and then bassicaly ported
