Not even god's little critters are safe...

I must have a curse on mice, let me explain...

1) Laughed my ass off so bad at a funny game of pso, I scared one out from hiding in my living room into the kitchen only to hear the trap go off.

2) Was in the computer room of my friends house listening to the cat run around in the hallway, then turned around to see a mouse crawl under the door and roll to the side in the middle of the room *DEAD!* :eek:

3) Took my first step outside the door on my way to work this morning.... SQUEEEEEEESH!!! (heh heh, whoops!)

I'm going to hell!

Oh yeah? A few years back when we had a moderate mouse infestation, I had come home late from work and was feeling damn hungry. So I popped some leftover lasagna in the microwave and set it to about 2 minutes. I talked to my mom and got a drink ready for the duration, until the timer was up. I popped open the door, and voila! A very dead and very fried mouse next to my plate of lasagna! The eyes were all imploded too....yuck.

I have NO idea how it got in there...I didn't see it when I put the plate in at all.

I ate the lasagna, if you were wondering.

That's why you have to buy snap traps.

Seeing the little buggers struggle on a glue trap is a little disheartening. The snap traps do all the dirty work for me.

protip: Use a dab of peanut butter instead of cheese. Works wonders.

We employed this tactic, and while snap traps are a little more considerate of the fact that they die quickly, it does look rather...ravaging to all of a sudden look behind the stove in the morning to find a sea of dead furry things.

Dont you all feel sorry for the little guys though? I mean they are small and furry and they eat your leftover crumbs (and sometimes try to gank your Lasagna while its in the microwave, but thats obviously a rare one). To me though, shit like spiders (which can kill you if your unlucky enough to find and end up crossing paths with the wrong one), snakes,scorpions,and creatures like that are worthy of death. I actually had a fucking scorpion in my bathroom one night here in Florida, talk about your " HOLY SHIT" moments (especially when I really had to shit). Now those can do you bodily harm. A furry mouse? Just kick him out the door or plug up whatever hole he's coming from.

Unless your furry things are Secret of Nimh levels of rat with sharp razor teeth - then I say kill em all....

Well, there's always the potential that they are disease-carrying. So when you have an infant in the house, as is the case with my baby brother, that's one angle you have to cover.

Add in the fact that cute little mice leave cute little dumps AND steal your food, and you've got a recipe for a quick death.

Yeah, I'm like scared to death of roaches, but I don't mind mice at all.

We started leaving out rat traps (snappy kind) outside to get rid of this MONSTER rat we had, and we got little mice all week. That weekend, the trap finally got the huge rat right on the face. He dragged the trap a few bloody feet away before finally dying from what MUST have been blood loss, I had no clue they could fit that much in them.

No. I guess I would have to experience it to know where you guys are coming from. It's just all the mice I've seen are the cute ones in pet-shops, they dont look at all like harbingers of disease and evil like roaches,spiders,and other small beasts that lay in wait to pounce on unwary people and their lasagna.

I remember we one time I walked into my kitchen and a mouse was standing on the stove. It just stood there and it felt like we stared at each other for hours picking each others minds apart, crazy. I guess that's my most interesting mouse story except for this one time one got into my mom's room when she and my sister were in there, that was the funniest shit ever, they were screaming and jumping on the bed holding each other for dear life like those women in Tom and Jerry cartoons, hilarious.

Me too. There's nothing that disgusts me more than seeing a roach... they're impossible to catch, because they climb the walls and ceilings and crap. I hate stepping on them, because they crunch, and I never have shoes on in the house. I like to maim them with a school book or something and then flush them and watch them struggle.

I hate roaches too and I was scared of them when I lived up north and all they did was crawl around and look ugly. Now I'm in Florida and I've discovered flying roaches that are like twice the size of normal roaches... wtf.
