Nintendo needs to support it's own gimmick to make it work, and I don't think they've done a great job of it yet.
Nintendo for the past 10 years has been discouraging for a Nintendo fan.
So is he saying that the next system isnt going to concentrate on kicking ass with graphics? So what the fuck are they making? Gamecube 2.5 with slightly improved graphics and a lot of gimmicky shit?
Third parties dont want to make games for Nintendo systems because Nintendo bullies them, undercuts them on price, uses useless and retarded propietary formats, and the like.
And then when they do, like Capcom, they realize what a waste it is and end up putting all their games on other platforms that actually make them money. REmake and RE0 wouldve been 10X more successful on PS2 or Xbox.
The reason I feel 3rd parties won't support it isn't because of Nintendo's media formats or third party liscencing fees, but more so portability. If revolution IS as different as Nintendo is saying it will be, game just will not be able to be ported easily from PS3, XBox 2, to Nintendos Revolution. While obviously there will be companies that support it, count Nintendo out for getting 3rd party multiplatform games simply because their system will be that much different playwise than all the others.
Cool. I hope the continuining discouragement drives some of these people that claim to be lifelong fans over the edge to the point where they end themselves.
It's so true. All I have to say is Earthbound.Quote:

It basically says, if third parties want to make their graphics better, don't come knocking on Nintendo's door.Quote:
