Sega buys Creative Assembly

Fuck yeah, best decision Sega has made in a long motherfucking time. Rome: Total War is so insanely good. Also announced is a new Creative Assembly title for the consoles (yes, consoles), titled Spartan: Total War.

Oh, and the utterly hilarious irony that this presents to Diffx makes this so infinitely more satisfying and amusing. I would not be surprised if he stabs himself in the eyes just reading the thread title.

Go Sega. Next gen, all will be well, I never doubted you fuckers.

DiffusionX is going to be pissed. It's a good move if you're trying to focus on the PC, but I fail to see how Sega is going to use this for consoles. Maybe Spartan: Total War will be awesome, who knows?

If they're making them focus only on consoles, then ya, this was probably not a great purchase.

Maybe we will hear a Dreamcast 2 announcment at E3.
