This game is good fun. Very to the point. I like it better than ninja gaiden already because it doesnt have an ass camera. Ide put this up there with one of the ps2's greats, even tho i didnt want to believe it till i finally played it.
hows the 1080i mode? does it look good in HDTV?
it does.. and by jesus, this game is incredible... i simply don't have words.
This game is a) Devil May Cry/Ninja Gaiden for pussies and b) Fucking Awesome
In Pandora's Temple on Spartan now, taking a break - that was in one session. So well polished.
is the game challenging? or is it easy? Shinobi PS2 made me love hard game....only not Ninja Gaiden hard :P

Some of the puzzles are challenging, and some of the enemies are difficult at times, but no, its not really a super hard game.
it's not beat-your-head-against-the-wall challenging like ninja gaiden, but it's also more creative in the ways that you deal with enemies..Quote:

the game looks very good.. better than GT4? I don't know, and I don't care.
Played it with dj last night and got to the 3 level. The game is good, in both graphical (one of the best PS2 graphics, for real), and gameplay departments. Even though not far in the game yet, boss battles were still impressive, but not all that hard. Its definately not DMC3, or Ninja Gaiden level of challenge. Camera set up, is somewhat DMCish, so sometimes you dont see some of the areas, but it nevers gets in the way.
Bed mini-game was weird, and payoff with red soul recharge was pretty funny. And so are lots of NPCs deaths in the cutscenes and during gameplay. When you encounter enemy archers, and one of the npcs rushes in to you, to clue you in, on what happening, following headshot is rather juicy :lol:
