13. Physiologically speaking, researchers found that during dreaming REM sleep, males experience erections and females experience increased vaginal blood flow - no matter what the content of the dream. In fact, "wet dreams" may not necessarily coincide with overtly sexual dream content.

Your dreams are boring.Quote:

I often awaken from dreams in which I fall or trip, and as I awake my legs will twitch. I've also awoken from dreams in which something horribly wrong happens to my neck, either it's cut or snapped in half, either way I wake up instantly rub my neck to make sure everything is alright. Another recurring image I have is the loss of my teeth. They're either knocked out or they rot away leaving bloody gums, I end up waking and checking my mouth for damage.
No, that was proven wrong before I believe.Quote:

I get those, too.
I get something like this pretty often. If I wake up while falling in a dream, I feel like I have just landed on my bed. I've never gone so far as to check my body for injuries though.Quote:

I used to be hardcore into LD'ing, I'd have them 6 times a week or so. Normal dreams are just quirkier and more fun though. Theres an odd sense of isolation when you LD, and it feels cheap, like when you cheat in GTA. Still, its incredibly interesting and quite mind boggling to think that these worlds you experience are manifestations of your subconcious, and being able to appreciate that while you're still emmersed in one of them is really something. I just hate how it all gets lumped in with hippy shit like Astral Projection and Out of Body Experiences.
