It's been so long since I played the original that I forgot that it was only 2 player. I never bothered with 1 once I played 2, because FOUR PLAYER is why it was good. I stick by my statement. Fighting games like that are shit when they are only two player. Whenever I had Powerstone clones (that were never as good) like Barbarian or Kung Fu Chaos, it's all about the 4 player, and 2 player was too simple to be fun. Bottom line is that when a game isn't that good, make it 4 player, and it's better.

Powerstone was a good game, and the clones were crap, and that's why Powerstone holds up as 2 player... but I just would prefer 4 player. All this stuff of people bitching that Powerstone 2 is crap can just stop trying to defend their statement because I don't agree and you won't change my mind.

Powerstone 2 ruined everything that was great about the first. I really want another Powerstone though, it could be nuts.

From what I played I wouldn't say its that BAD..but its not that good either (I would say 5.5 out of 10). I guess the only way to judge the game is to play online and I didn't do that.

The story mode is weak and repetitive and the little stages with the robot henchmen are awful. The visuals for the characters look good but the stages are bland. Its an unpolished powerstone rip.

I don't care for the game but I say give it a rent if you have xbox live but otherwise save your money for X-Men Legends 2 and Ultimate Spiderman for your comic fix.
