Now that the system has been officially named, I realize I was holding my breath for a PSP version. Hey, after 12 years I shouldn't be anything but estatic. I am.
Let's just hope Treasure can develop the follow up we all expect, and damn it, that we loyal fans deserve.

Looks sharp. I think Astroboy was a little cleaner looking, but this still looks great, and in keeping with the original's style.

Unless it goes 3-D, I'd be nearly as surprised to see Bangai-O 2 on a console as I would to read that Treasure is developing The Revenge of Light Crusader.
Though it could be the DS's killer ap, I'm thinking the PSP could really blow the doors off the ol' Bakuretsu Muteki Bangaioh.
Bangaio would controll really well on the DS. Move with D-Pad, and just move the stick where you want to shoot.
