Man, I've been avoiding this thread for months. The game looks awesome, but there's too many spoilers in here. I must leave again until it comes out, but unless the reviews abolutely kill it (1up had some negative impressions, but Jeremy Parrish might just be on crack) there's no way I don't buy this day one.
Jeremy Parish is a long-time Treasure hater. I wouldn't put much stock in his opinion.
I just watched the 7 minute video and this game looks fucking great! I can't wait.
All he said really was that it was broken into wildly varried and gimmicky sublevels, and now you'll have 3 more balanced weapons at any given time, instead of two shit ones and a good one. But somehow those are bad things as far as he's concerned. I'm not worried.Quote:

The layout of the Japanese box art is much better. I'm surprised that the U.S. box art didn't incorporate part of the background from the Japanese box art.
I doubt that box is final, anyway
