Pyramid Schemes at TNL?

I do not want to see any ad threads in the TNL discussion forums.

A separate forum for those who wish to advertise would be OK. One post in the wrong forum should earn the topic creator a warning with the topic being moved to the right place. The second one should be grounds for a ban.

I don't think we need that at all, random company ads just plain don't need to be here and we sure don't need a seperate forum for ads.

Theres nothing wrong with the FREE mags thread. Yea, some dont send you mags but thats luck of the draw I guess. Most if not most do send you mags. Plus they arent referral programs nor a pyrmaid scheme, so its not the same concept/category as these cheesy "FREE.." items.

Like your FreePSP referral that you have in your sig..you dont see me posting thousands of links to free mags. I'm not getting anything out of it either. So like I said, its not in the same category.

Damn, with all these free mags, I should be getting paid or something :bang:

Truth. I fully support bandit's thread because it got me many free mags.

Whoa there, I compared them because they both stem from the same concept: It's where an marketing middleman outside of the normal circle of the company steps in and provides free products based on getting names out. I wasn't saying your mags were scams (although I guess grouping those sentences together might've given that impression), I just brought that up because it was another free service of something millions of people pay for everyday.

And don't think I don't appreciate your posting those, because I do.

I should definitely check out that thread.

I've always been too lazy... :/
