every game announced/shown so far at E3 in Insider, have been shown elsewhere, and already known. Not even a quarter of that list is anywhere on IGN, so either 1-there's a LOT of announcments being held back, 2-they are all behind closed doors and top secret, or 3- as I suspect, total bs.
It doesn't matter what system Sega developed it for, it would look and play great regardless. Especially if it was for GameCube.Quote:

Then why the fuss?Quote:

Because there's nothing I want on the Xbox at present and I love Shining Force. Not enough money or space for every piece of hardware that has 2 good games.
So let me get this straight - the system has the best specs by a mile, and now it has games you want for it, and you still trash it? Come on man, that's fanboy territory. You're better than that.Quote:

Oh well, the buzz was nice while it lasted. Still, why that isn't Sega's release list for the next two years is beyond me.
Who knows, E3's hardly even begun, and there's always suprise announcements, maybe a few of those'll turn out to be true after all. (Although I'd settle for just XB VF4 Evo)
Then this will give you something to go back and get later on down the line, once we get the next generation of systems and the XBox is the price of a PS right now.
Me? I own them all, can't really afford it, but don't care either. I just want 'em and the games for them enough to make the money work out somehow.
Exactly. The PS2 is on hold, but Contra (who cares how it looks now? If it plays like Contra, what can touch that?) Rygar, Silent Hill 3 and Legend of Dragoon make it too desirable to pass up. I'm strapped for cash too, but I'm about to pull the trigger on that Xbox. I can't pass up Shenmue III, Panzer Dragoon & Ninja Gaiden and still call myself a man. Who cares if it's still around in 3 years?Quote:

Sega and Nintendo can do more with 16-bit technology than most can do with cutting edge technology. So specs don't mean much.Quote:

Has games? If this is false: no. Even if it were true, it's not enough games. Maybe Shenmue 3 ON TOP OF that and I'd give in, albeit a tad pissed off.
So if they can do that well on 16 bit, doesn't it stand to reason they'd get more out of the most powerful hardware? Not that it matters a great deal, since GC can still do awesome things (those character models in Smash Bros. are GODLY), but I'd rather see Sega do their thing with the best tools available rather than another imperfect port a-la VF4.Quote:

Hey, I won't tell you how to spend your money. But Panzer Dragoon, Sega Rally 3, Shenmue III, Steel Batallion, Outrun, Ninja Gaiden, Jet Set Radio, Shin Megami Tensei Nine and the fact that every game that's appeared on both the 'box and PS2 has come out significantly better on XB is enough reason to justify a purchase for me.Quote:
