It has to be the ones made specifically for the PSP, normal USB cables won't connect.

It doesnt have to be specifically made for the PSP. So as long the USB cable has a mini-A plug and the normal USB plug on the other. Digital cameras use the same plug. If you have a Sony digi-cam, you can use the same cable.

You can get the cable for cheap. I suggest getting the cable with the PSP charger cable. I might have one for sale..but I'll have to check.

Ah, thanks. But mind you, the one you listed is just a data cable hence its cheaper.

Need some help here folks...I am atttempting to convert anime dvds so that I can watch on my PSP. I am using DVD Decrypter to rip then PSPVideo9 to move the stuff over...the problem is that the anime I am ripping has the subtitle stream intact, but there is no way to turn on the subs once it has been converted to an MP4 by pspV9 and copied over to the PSP. I need to have the J audio intact along with the English subs displayed, but the PSP playing an MP4 that has been copied to it has no subtitle option (that I can find, anyway). Can anyone help? Thx in advance

PSPVideo9 doesnt do subtitles. If you want subtitles, you'll need an application called PMP Mod. There are different version of it by different people. Just go to pspupdates.qj.net and search for PMP Mod. There you'll find the latest application as well with subtitle feature.
