make sure to get the USB cable as well if you want to do any homebrew.
It has to be the ones made specifically for the PSP, normal USB cables won't connect.

PSPVideo9 doesnt do subtitles. If you want subtitles, you'll need an application called PMP Mod. There are different version of it by different people. Just go to pspupdates.qj.net and search for PMP Mod. There you'll find the latest application as well with subtitle feature.Quote:
