I just read the UT2k7 demo is hitting Jan 05 2007. I was pretty hyped because I've always like the Unreal games and I just got a second 7800gt to run SLI and another gig of ram...

then i remembered what i was reading, the new PLAY magizine lol

Not fronting, but I will believe that when I see it. I remember the UT2K3 demo was pushed back time and time again. So I did what any good-natured pirate would do, I went on their web-site and posted pics of the E3 build of their full game on their web-site which I had. Told 'em I'd start distributing if the demo didn't show. Mark Rein then came from the heavens and did the whole legal action thing to me. Then the demo was released and the people were underwhelmed.

I had no intentions of sharing the gane, but it was funny how quick they responded, given the fact that they would rarely interact with fans. I do love Epic, but for a while there (until 2K4) they sucked pretty hard. Also thought Unreal 2 was an embarassment, and the 1 good thing about it, the multiplayer, was left to die.

The ram I bought is currently like $70 at Best Buy, I'm really REALLY weighing whether or not to buy it now, or just let it go.
