Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
You should be ashamed of yourself, TNL, for not creating an official thread until after this game's release.
ANYWAY, Chaos Theory looks to be in the running for Best Xbox Game Evar, if only for the multiplayer modes. Here is a 1up.com review.

Ubisoft's well-deserved reputation for sweating the details is also on bold display during online play. The big news -- a co-op mode playable over Xbox Live, is so well done it's scary. Rather than have you simply cover each other as you make your way around the single-player levels the Chaos Theory design team took it to a new level, literally and figuratively. Custom co-op moves make working together essential to scale walls, take out surveillance and pick off enemies. And though some of the positions adopted by your spies appear unintentionally hilarious ("Mind if I put my face in your ass for a moment? Thanks!") the result is a game where co-operation is essential, and expertly woven in to the fabric of the dedicated co-op missions. For those who found themselves lasting all of two minutes playing Pandora Tomorrow's tough online game, this is a beautifully executed alternative. Of course, for those of a more masochistic bent, the full Mercs vs Spies multiplayer modes are fully present, with excellent new maps and some neat training levels to ease in the rookies.
Buy it now, so I have someone to be terrible with.
