Mine hurt a little, they should've been taken out but I got discharged from the Marines before they were going to do it and I can't afford to do it on my own so I'm just kinda screwed. I really don't give a fuck about my teeth being super-straight anyway, I told my parents this before they put braces on my teeth and I still stand by it.
I went through three years of braces, and an orthodontic appliance that resembled a hydraulic piston system, to straighten my teeth and fix my jaw. I'm very upset that my wisdom teeth weren't taken out soon enough before they made my top teeth all crooked again. Can't afford t get braces for a second time, so I'm stuck with overlap on my front teeth (it's not that noticeable, but it bothers me to feel).

All four of my wisdom teeth were impacted to I had them removed about 3 years ago.
BTW, I got them all out at once and I didn't get put to sleep for it like just about everyone else in the world seems to. You fucking pussies.
As for the people whose teeth had gotten crooked again after wearing braces, you guys do realize you're supposed to wear your retainer pretty much the rest of your life, right? I mean, at least a few nights a week while you sleep. I don't know if that would have counteracted the wisdom teeth coming in, though, but it might have helped. Still, the same thing happened to me (thought not too badly), so I got braces again for a short period after I got my wisdom teeth taken out just to straighten things out.
And Nomi, you can usually get payment plans for braces if you can't afford it all up front.
My wisdom teeth came in on the bottom perfectly, and apparently they were coming in on the top too by last check-up. I didn't even feel any discomfort, let alone pain. Most of my teeth are perfectly, naturally straight. One small tooth is causing a problem up front though, so I'll have to have one pulled.
I'm going to need them pulled eventually. The bottom right one seems to be just below the gumline waiting to do something. I'm not looking foward to it.
Having your wisdom teeth pulled is great, because they give you vicitan. Whoo!
Had mine pulled about four years ago. Didnt hurt, even without the drugs. Though, my bottom teeth move around a lot now. Hell, my right side doesn't even touch when I close my jaw. Dentist says its a crossbite or whatever.
I just can't wait until the other 3 wisdom teeth finish their process.
I can see them, the top ones I think are in already but the left one in my mouth is still coming through so I guess this week will be relived (minus the flu) unless that one is not a problem.
Maybe the one on the right side is coming in crooked i dunno. It just has my cheek really sore.
Yea I'm in the same boat. my top 2 teeth are in perfect, my bottom left is almost fully grown in, but my bottom right is still partially concealed. I'll brush my teeth and go to bed and wake up in the morning and find a peanut from my crunchy peanut butter i had for dinner in there. The other horrible thing is that i always try to get the food out of there with my tounge, which causes me to get little sores on the tip of my tounge.Quote:

I got my wisdom teeth taken out on Monday this week; I had impacted molars, I got both my top and bottom teeth removed. So far everything's going pretty well, even though I'm still a bit swollen.
For my medication; I'm required to take amoxicillin to prevent any infection, for the pain I've been given vicodin to roll on. :p I'm not abusing the use of it of course.
