I agree about the experience carry-over. I'd love to take my Martyr through the game, and just lay waste!
I'd say I give it an 8/10 as well. Knock it up a half point if you're a fan of the dice & paper game.
I just looked at the view count on this thread, and it makes me happy that so many people care :)
I'd give it a 6.5, maybe a 7.
A short game like this needs a lot more incentive to replay it.
Funny how Smash TV had a map for its zelda inspired levels, funny how Cannon Spike was level for level one stage easy, funny how Robotron was the same, funny how zombie revenge was.........the same.Quote:

This game needs a map, end of story, the levels are just plain too big for an action game. My proof is above. I can guarantee your not that much older than me.
And as for Ammadeau, did I not say the auto lock on should be initiated by the player aka, Cannon spike? You dont need to use it, if the situation calls for quicks multi enemie shots, as you say the later levels need.
I'm playing the game through on nightmare with the defender and I'm frustrated to find she for some reason has auto lock. There's no actual indicator for it, but she'll always aim directly at the nearest zombie and this pisses me off to no end. I wanted to shoot up a truck that was _right in front of me_ to kill off a crowd of zombies, but the game just refused to let me. Annoying. -_-
Even if you didn't have trouble finding your way in this game, I still think there should have been a map. I would have been so easy to implement. I really think they worked on this game until it was 'good enough' and then shipped it. It feels rough around the edges and I've found a few bugs as well.
BTW, Nightmare isn't all that difficult. I've only had to use one continue so far and that was because of the incredibly cheap ass trick the teddy bear boss used on me and the fact that the game suddenly decided, for no reason whatsoever, that it wouldn't let me use me healing edge. I had full conviction at the time even.
Overall, I still love the game, but it could have used another month of development. Then it might have been perfect.
Yes, yes, and yes. Like I said, it's a good game...but Baldur's Gate is much more replayable. Besides, with all this talk of DMC buzzing arround, I've decided to play through it a few more times. Hunter will just have to wait for me to beat it...the third time.Quote:

yes...the bear IS cheap. the blast radius on the vomit is far larger than the actual vomit. ive been at least 2 inches (screen size) away from the puke and it still would hit me. and i love how if i would reload i couldnt jump most of the time. stupid....Quote:

Blast radius of all the bosses is sadly way too cheap. I wasn't even near the vampire's similar attack and he still hit and took off half my life, and knocked me down for a follow up attack. -_-
Bosses are a lot more tolerable with two people, but they're still a chore. Much less fun than the rest of the game, especially in nightmare when they take forever to kill.
Well, Bosses can be very cheap, and if you playing in co-op then, you got to be twice carefull, since both player gotto watch out where they going, otherwise, its easy to get stuck on both edges of the screen and get pummeled by the boss.
Teddies puke attack, was indeed quite a cheap move, and the best way, would be just to try jump diagnoly away before it reaches you. Hes jump falls are very easy to avoid though.
Playing as Judge, I found its quite easy to clear out large groups of lesser zombies with crosbow meelee push move, since it hurts and pushed multiple enemies and hurts them hard. DOesnt work well against higher zombies, like those ravers, since they deal huge damage on you up close, and much faster than other rots.
Well I refuse to buy any of White Wolfs games until we get that Werewolf the Apocalypse game we where promised, that's all I want and is that really too much to ask for :(
