Really, how DOES one fall for this? I don't even HAVE a checking account, but I'm sure others that don't still click on this shit even if they realize they're not in the bank's "sistem." Fuggin' hell.
Oddly enough, almost nobody gets this e-mail address... I don't even use it ANYWHERE on the 'net. I wonder how this found its way out.

I got 1,000 messages of spam in my old MSN account which I never even logged onto once. Remembered the fact I even had it and looked and it was filled with shit.

I delete those as soon as I get them. Like I have accounts at banks I've never heard of.

My father gets worried about e-mails involving his AOl account, because my retarded stepsister has gotten us all booted a few times for being reported in chat rooms and shit. So every time he gets a spam link that says 'go here to get account information' he doesn't realize that the 'FREEPORN' portion of the URL it directs to means it's a scam.

He is very, very bad with scam e-mails. I've had to run upstairs and convince him on several occasions that just because it has a picture of the Paypal logo does not mean it's from Paypal.

People are worrisome I guess, and far too gullible.

My dad's a doctor, and he's very smart, but he is retarded about online accounts in every way. He assumes that because all the links and images look identical to the REAL ones he gets, that they're the same.

I have all the important ones (AOL, Paypal, eBay) double send to my e-mail now, so I can tell him if it's real or not. He never takes stupid action, but because of all the time we get account issues on AOL he's dumb about those and questions them too often, yes.

Stupidity should hurt. If you can't figure it out, too bad.

News flash people, education does not equal computer literacy. You have to remember that last couple of generations before the 80's kids (most of us i think) came about with the attitude that either only 5 supercomputers would be needed for all the world's needs or that computers in every home would be kinda useless. Hence while many doctors (like the few in my family) could effectively cut into me, fix some problem and stitch me up without any complications still cannot figure out how to use google or yahoo.
