I 100% disagree with Punky. The bottom line is try the demo. If you like it, you will like the game. I would balance the tombs with other areas at about 50/50. Not exacty but close enough. I could do without the motorcycle parts though. I thought they were weak. I could also do without the fucking QTE cut scenes. They suck in every game they are in. God of War doesn't count because they are integrated into the gameplay instead of the cut scenes and they work wonderfully in GoW.

I finished it on Tomb Raider difficulty today too. I'm planning to go back now and find the secrets I missed and do the time trials. I thought it was short but sweet. I would rather play it as is than add 5 more hours of boring filler like most games do these days. As Glass Joe said, Punky is 100% wrong. The game is not that short, and what is there is very good. It could have used dinosaurs, but then again, so could every game.

Are you guys serious? It's been a while, but exploration and atmosphere were a huge part of the original TRs appeal. Exploration in this game is the chance to move around a room for 5 minutes before the next set of corridors that practically have arrows painted on the floors. It's kind of hard to do any sort of involving puzzle when it's all confined to the visible area of 1 room. TR needs a lot more room.
The game was short and felt loaded with filler. The motorcyle mini-games indeed sucked, so we can agree there.
One thing I did think was cool about this game was retracing the tombs once they were complete. Now that seems like filler, but honestly was my favorite part since at least it was a little bit intense.

I definitely understand what you are saying Punky and to a small extent I agree. The X factor that made part 1 magic isn't totally present here but there are shades of it. And let's be honest, that's saying quite a lot after the last few TR games especially the PS2 abortion.
I still think TR 1 is king followed by The Last Revelation, but this game is my 3rd favorite TR and the last half showed TONS of promise. I don't know if we will ever get a TR on par with TR 1 but this game was really, really good and I look forward to more.

I just downloaded the demo last night and liked it. Just wondering, how do the graphics of the Xbox 1 version compare to the 360 version?
