does that number work for adding your land line to the DNC list?
I'm a telemarketer and we call people on the Do Not Call list all the time (some solicitation calls are allowed even if you're on the list). Unlisted numbers and shit too. You're never safe. Companies buy numbers off of your credit card company or new movers lists or anywhere else.
If you get harassed by telemarketers you're probably retarded. Just say "Remove my name from all of your calling lists" and you'll never hear them again. Takes 3 seconds. If they don't do it, you can have them fined a shitload. Sad thing is most people just pretend to be the babysitter or say they're not home and get called back every other day, because they have no balls for some reason.
Ok. what the heck is going on. I thought that the whole issue is dead and now I hear that today is the last day to get on the DNC list for cell phones. I look up google and I see almost nothing but old articles from last year. Any new word on this shiznit or should I go ona rampage over telemarketing calls?
call and find out. :DQuote:

Yes, you may place your personal cell phone number on the National Do Not Call Registry. The registry has accepted cell phone numbers since it opened for registrations in June 2003. There is no deadline to register a home or cell phone number on the Registry.
You may have received an email telling you that your cell phone is about to be assaulted by telemarketing calls as a result of a new cell phone number database; however, that is not the case. FCC regulations prohibit telemarketers from using automated dialers to call cell phone numbers. Automated dialers are standard in the industry, so most telemarketers dont call consumers on their cell phones without their consent.

Eh, I've done it, anyway. No harm in it.
PUT THAT COOKIE DOWN! NOW!
Man, fuck all this shit. Fucking asshole telemarketers. It's like every month, you gotta worry about some dickhead getting your home phone or your cell phone number to call your house about some useless bullshit.
Oh that works great. I remember about 8 years ago being called just about everyday at home by AT&T to switch over to thier long distance calling plan. I told them to quit calling and to put me on the do not call list. A couple of days later, another asshole calls. Not only do I tell the guy to fuck off, but 5 minutes later another jack ass calls me.Quote:
