Its likely an alarmist outlook on new proposals to extend the FCCs authority over other media... i dunno. I can't be forced to care. I always get the impression that anything that says, "Look at what the republicans are doing!" is making a mountian out of a molehill. I don't know.

Have you ever read anything in LA Weekly outside this article? I did, for almost 3 years. My advice is not to take anything it says seriously. Except for the 'hand massage', 'private strip show', and 'medical marijuana' ads in the back of every issue. Seriously, every issue has at least 3 articles just like this one.
