What did you go for?

I just got back from my placement. They keep paying me compliments on my work on The Killaz album. Good stuff. It's something I can use in my portfolio and be proud of, not having to make changes on my own to make it presentable (clients ruin a lot of stuff).

I'm not allowed to post the album yet until it's officially launched. The Killaz want it to blow up. But it'll be available all over the US, Canada, Europe and Japan. I'm going to be able to go to the store and buy my own design. I'm excited about this. Although I won't have to buy it, because I'm getting a copy for free for my portfolio.

Wow, Titmouse has done some great work. I'm surprised to see so many people going for all-out animation and I'm glad that they do go for it. I'm tired of simple motion graphics being the predominant form of moving art for companies. Music videos give you a little more creative muscle, so that helps.

No. What are you going to college for. You say you're in and out of it, not really full time or "in gear". I was just wondering what you're taking.

oh, lol. Right now its business admin and the college I attend has a excelerated program that gets you an AA in 18 months or less (depending on if you have prior college experience before entering the program). Its all online so I just need to get my funds right before I sign up for it.

Well, see, if you get commission on it, you can sell them a .Mac account and tell them to go to the Learning Center. You're for tech support, not learning programs/information. The Learning Center available to .Mac users will teach them how to do anything.

Or you could direct them to an Apple Store/AASP. Some people need to have their hands held.

Or you could just tell them to RTFM. :evil:

I never use "intuitive" to describe any sort of computer product, whether it's a program or a game or controller or whatever. What I would say is that iMovie is really easy to figure out between just sitting down and messing around and the help system.

The iApps are for home users. Apple makes Pro apps which are more suited to power-user type things. I look at stuff like Logic and Final Cut and am just confused, whereas someone who was using Cakewalk or Premiere will sit right down and figure it out pretty quickly.

Your girl has a G5? Damn. I hope I get the Genius job so I can buy a dual 2.5.

Sandwich Production Manager is no joke. I see a lot of young, inexperienced sandwicheers come into the kitchen, thinking they've got the right stuff and all the right moves to make the perfect sandwich.
