Sean Connery to be in next 007 game

According to a story by the Hollywood Reporter, Sean Connery will be lending his voice and likeness to Electronic Arts' latest James Bond game. Titled From Russia With Love, the game is a remake of the 1963 movie of the same moniker. He will be joined by many of the other actors and actresses that contributed their talents to the movie (even many who have passed on) including Donald "Red" Grant (Robert Shaw), the original Q (Desmond Llewelyn), Tatiana Romanova (Daniela Bianchi), Rosa Klebb (Lotte Lenya), Kerim Bay (Pedro Armendariz) and Miss Moneypenny (Lois Maxwell).

"As an artist, I see this as another way to explore the creative process," said an enthusiastic Connery. "Video games are an extremely popular form of entertainment today, and I am looking forward to seeing how it all fits together."

From Russia With Love will release on the PS2, GCN and Xbox sometime within the next year.

Also if you look in this month's game informer, you'll see all sorts of game screens related to this title. Pray to god EA DOES NOT screw this up.

EA is in the articles so most probably not considering their recent performance, if they keep it up it'll be even worse.

Good point, he'd have no idea either way. They could have retarded monkeys programming it using the Genesis Zero Tolerance engine and he'd be telling EA "YOU'RE THE MAN NOW, DAWG!!"

It looks pretty good from the first screens, while Goldeneye: RA looked like a loss right from the start to me. I'd say this one has a pretty good potential not to suck.
