Burnout 3: Takedown

This was my GOTY lat year, and last year was a good year for games.

I was just online with this last weekend, and will be again this weekend. Come and play if you want.

Actually, during the many, many hours of play, I recognized the best tracks to get an early bus or truck takedown. Then the secone had to be earned. Honestly, it was a bullshit requirement and I pray it's left out of Burnout 4. That final car made it worth it (maybe).

I've got a good idea of which tracks to do each on, but since they're during races and I'm rarely right next to my opponents during the specific moments needed I decided it wasn't worth the time after an hour or two of trying and getting absolutely nowhere. If they could be done during Road Rage I'd be cool with it but races are just a pain in the ass for timing specific crashes.

I'm sure I'd love the Euro Racer but most of the races I've done have been on a lower class where the cars can at least take a couple hits. F1 races are hysterical but I'd rather do Coupe, Sports, or Super; I find those to be the best balance between flying quickly through courses but not dying from every little mistake.

sorry, someone would whine and cry eventually. I just had to deny them the satisfaction of it. :D

I don't think there is anything wrong with starting a fresh thread for a classic game such as Burnout 3. When you begin to see three or four threads pop up within a year of a game's release then it might be time to start whining like a school girl.

Mech, I don't blame you for giving up. It was a lame requirement on just about a perfect arcade racer. The Euro is sweet though...

Last night I couldn't fall asleep, so I popped in BO3. The rush came back after one close race. I'll be back on tonight for a couple of hours. Probably between 11:00 PM and 1:00 AM eastern time.
