Right, so, I'm seriously considering getting into mini-tri's this summer. It's a growing sport (particularly for ppl in their 20's-30's) and the Pac NW offers some great vistas for swimming/biking/running.
Anyone on TNL into this?

My advice: Make sure to compete in ALL THREE events. Competing in only two will make it harder to win, and doing only one pretty much means you can't win.
You are welcommmmmmmmmmme.
Create an ammo belt full of powerbars.
Also, hurry up.
Dammit I'm full of good advice.
What, do you guys just sit around all day playing videogames? ;)
Not a sport. Beyond that, though, use ankle weights. Eventually, when you have them off, you'll feel like you can just fly around
Triathlon not a sport?
No. It's a physical activity.
Im thinking about getting into boxing, because its a great physical activity. Tips?
Boxing is different. There's some sort of defense being played.
If I go to the gym and get on a treadmill and have a competition of who can last longer with someone else on another treadmill, is that a sport? I don't think so.
