Actually, it does have a Z button. It was the L button that got the boot.

Whats really cool is he hacked one of those radica mini-genesis units into using cartridges...
He basicaly then built a Nomad that didnt nuke batteries, and wasnt blury as heck. Thats damn cool.

since those guys are great at this shit, why don't they come up with a longer lasting battery for the PSP instead of those awefull looking portables!

Well for some reason, the SNES, N64 and PS2 ones all use the PS1 LCD screen, so it must be easy to modify. It doesn't say anything for its looks (or button placement) but it must be easier (and cheaper) to work with.

The PS1 LCD screen is cheap and takes standard RGB input so you get a cleaner picture.
