Hmm...hard to say how much of an impact this will have, if any. Professional actors are becoming fairly commonplace in gaming. However, aside from really high-profile games that rely on Hollywood voice talent (GTA, The Godfather, etc.), a majority of the videogame industry won't give a shit. If anything, they'll just end up going back to the days when they used Jo-Jo the copy boy and the woman that cleaned the toilets for voice acting.

Actually, I thought that's what they did now.

I don't see this having a huge effect on videogames.

Eh, I don't either. I doubt there will even be a strike.

Hah, that was the first thing I thought of when I clicked on this thread. "Jill! Don't open... that door!"

I still want to know what the people who did the voice acting for that game were on during the recording session. Hope this is not... Chris's blood!

I would welcome more voice acting of that caliber, though. As long as it's funny. The horrible voice acting in RAD gave me a headache instead of amusement.
