What are your thoughts on "hate crimes"? Personally, I think that it is a ridiculous notion, but I think that if it's there, it better go both ways. Geez, in fact there's more here to suggest this was than some of the white-on-black ones that are labelled as such.

Even though this thread means absolutely nothing now, my thoughts on hate crimes: people shouldn't prosecuted to a fuller extent of the law based on their beliefs (motives). A murder is a murder, regardless of whether or not the guy did it because he hates black people.
