Hands-On with Psychonauts

I think this is just about as close as Gamespot gets to enthusiasm; difficult to tell, though. Really looking forward to this one, at any rate.

Hey, determining whether a game is a 7.6 or a 7.7 is an exact science which requires a pure and constant emotional state.

As for Psychonauts...it...it...it sounds just like Shadow Man. I'm sorry.

Seriously...shooter/platformer with a great psychological premise and a heavy and dark backstory...sounds kinda similar to me. Except that I hated Shadow Man after the second hour I spent running around that stupid first deadside level.

The video of Psychonauts didn't impress me. It looked pretty generic.

Shadowman I can understand, in a backward and almost completely unrelated sort of way. But... generic? Sweet Christ man, read that article!

I thought the theme that the music provided was really nice. No telling how the game play will be, but it looks quite interesting at least.

Thanks Mode :) I havent heard about this game yet, and it sounds pretty interesting, and its premise quite unique and bizzare. I will keep an eye on its development.

Both PS2 and Xbox has soo many games to look forward to :)

You know the "case for" list is much much larger (& growing) than the "case against" list in regards to me getting an X.

I did read the article. That doesn't change the fact that the video didn't impress me.

I have spent extensive time with this game, and have even talked to the developers about it. Looks pretty quality from where I am sitting...
