Take your own estimate of what constitutes a loser, and judge yourself based on that definition. Be honest, nobody will know how you voted. I am a college student therefor I have not "made it", but really I do not have any actual goals, so I guess that would definetly make me a loser. That being said, I live on my own, have lots of friends and get laid with decent regularity, and that makes me pretty well off.

To me: a loser is someone with low goals, no ambition, little or no responsibility, little or no reliability, or just doesn't do anything. Really, any combination of those. You could be living on your own, making six figures, with a hot girlfriend/someone you care about (whichever you prefer), and still play video games. Playing video games in itself doesn't make you a loser.
And really, as far as Mo7's is concerned, you're not necessarily a loser if you haven't gotten laid. Your standards are probably too high, or you have some other reason, or you just don't know what to do. If you're successful, it really doesn't matter.
I go to 24-Hour Fitness, which is pretty widespread across the nation (I think they're everywhere except the northeast) and I see fat guys there all the time. Way more fat girls, but I'd say 50% of the guys are fat.Quote:

I started working out again after taking the last several years off. Stepping on a scale and seeing it hit the 300 mark was a huge wake up call. Yea, Im only paying $20 a month and the place is totally decent. I wish it had a pool but I can live with what they have especially since I dont have much more than $20 a month to spend on it. There's barely anybody there most of the time and I never have to wait.
This place is even cheeper, I paid $80 for a full year. Like your's there's no pool but I can live with that for the cost. It can get busy at certain hours and I wish they opened earlier but I've found a schedule that works out great and the place is never packed when I'm there.
Yeah, the 24HF I go to doesn't have a pool but my apartment does so it doesn't matter to me. I know you're like done with school, but does UCLA have any off-campus apartments with pools? That would be totally sweet.Quote:

I am very good at my highly technical job, I am about to be debt-free with a nice chunk of money in the bank, I have all the video games I could ever play, I have a nerd boyfriend with whom I can share my nerdiness with, and I live in a really nice apartment. My car isn't the greatest (2001 Dodge Neon) but it's about to be paid off which is a plus. My goal for the next couple of years is to really start hitting up college courses and get a Bachelors degree in Airway Sciences, so that I can get that 80,000 a year job in the FAA when I get out of the Air Force. I just reenlisted for 4 years to take advantage of the 30,000 bonus and 100% free college tuition.
