Yep. If you look the words "Video CD" appear nowhere on the case.Quote:

Of course, they have hard drives - which is a big plus in their favor. That still doesn't negate the fact that, after you get your hands on a PSP, you realize that they aren't overpriced. Anybody who thinks that they are - and hey, that's your right - hasn't really looked at comparable portable media systems, in my opinion.
I was only including "Fuck Sony" in the heat of the moment. They brought me my beautiful PSP and are A-OK in my book.Quote:

The point of playing UMDs on a TV wouldn't be to replace DVD, obviously. It would be, "Hey, I have this movie on UMD, and now I can also watch it on my TV. That's nice." For example, I have Spiderman 2 on UMD now, but not on DVD. I don't love love the movie, but I enjoy watching it. Since I already have the UMD, if the video would be at least close to DVD quality on my TV, I could happily watch that and never bother with getting the DVD. Wouldn't do that with movies I care about, but if it worked good enough of various other titles, then I could get the UMD, watch it at home, and also take it on the road with me.
Those prices are insane. :eep: But why not just link to the entire PSP Movie selection?Quote:

7 out of 11 are under $20 on Bestbuy. That's not to bad... Didn't bother to check the other site....
And if ANYBODY considers getting a movie on UMD, get it from Amazon. They discount the things so that they are far more realistic. (Kill Bill, for example, is $20 instead of $30.)
Yeah, but Target has a bunch of them for $12.99 this week.Quote:
