New Maps = Hot Sex

Like I said, I stopped playing UT2k4 because it wasn't as fun as Halo 2. I've had UT2k4 since it came out, played it for 6 months then just dropped it. I've had halo 2 since it came out, played it til like January when I started having network issues and picked it back up a month later and have been playing it nightly. The feeling of community is better in Halo 2 for me.
The gamebreaker for me is being able to play and have fun with the kids from the boards instead of anonymous leet kids on the intarweb.

Which is why I stated that as a question, because I didn't know the answer.

I can't really say much in regards to games using the Half Life engine online (and Steam for that matter), I played Counterstrike very breifly and it just wasn't my cup of tea. I do know that even if a game has a built in VO-IP service (Unreal 2004) most people who play the game don't use it. I'm not sure if that's the same for HL, but I'm damn sure that's how it is for Unreal 2004.

And X-bot? ZINGER!!! (most uninspired insult ever, at least put some heart into it toxic)

Exactly what I said before, yet the people arguing with us fail to recognize that.

I will post this quote for the 3rd time because it really sums up why I enjoy Halo 2 more than most MULTIPLAYER PC FPS's.

Team Fortress: I played TFC for about a week or two pretty hardcore, then never really picked it up again. I loved being a Spy.

Counterstrike: I played it on the PC maybe one night heavily. I played the Xbox one for awhile, loved it.

Day of Defeat: Never played it.

Battlefield series (specify): Never played it.

Quake series (specify): I played Quake III (like everyone else) for a hella long time. I was pretty much exclusively interested in instagib servers though. Great fun.

Unreal Tournament series (specify): My PC came with 2001 installed, so I played it and loved it. I still reinstall it on occasion to play CTF on Facing Worlds.

Tribes series (specify): A friend of mine was a huge fan of Ariel Assault on the PS2, and eventually started playing it on the PC. I never could get into it.

Soldier of Fortune series (specify): I played through and loved the original SOF game. Blowing Iraqis' arms and legs off at 5 feet with the Desert Eagle was the hotness. I positively loathed SOFII, both on the PC and Xbox. The multiplayer on the Xbox was the worst of it, though.

Doom series (specify): Ultimate. Doom.

Jedi Knight series (specify): I played Dark Forces back in the day, loved it. I then skipped ahead to Jedi Knight, loved it too. I played a little of JKII multi, but got bored with it pretty quick.

I used to hang out at a crappy lan cafe, and I've played a lot of stuff for atleast 2 hours. I know that doesn't really count, but it was long enough to make me not care about them anymore.

Team Fortress: I've played maybe four hours of TFC, it was fun but just too old at this point.
Counterstrike: Between the PC and Xbox version I've put well over 50 hours on this game.
Day of Defeat: Haven't played.
Battlefield series (specify): I've played 1942 for a few hours and Vietnam for a few hours as well.
Quake series (specify): Quake 2, not very much though.
Unreal Tournament series (specify): UT2003 and UT2004. I've also played Unreal Championship and Unreal 2.
Tribes series (specify): Haven't played.
Soldier of Fortune series (specify): Haven't played.
Doom series (specify): Doom was my first FPS, and I've played 2 and 3.

No it's not. There is no one best. There is no one best NFL team necessarily, but that doesn't make Arena football teams as good as NFL teams. Way to go, logic

Um no...first of all, many years, analysts will say that the best team didn't win. Second of all, If I have 5 equal things and they are better than 5 other things that are all different, there is no best, but they (the first 5) are better.
