Anyone pick up House of M #1 yet? Between that and the 2 issue Excalibur HOM prelude, I'm actually pretty excited.

I got House of M #1. It's interesting, but not mind-blowing. Granted, I'm curious and will be picking up the other seven issues (along with some of the spill-over issues, such as Spider-Man: House of M), but don't expect much more than a "hmmm" at the ending. I'm curious to see how #3 pans out. Hope I'm not let down.

Its Superman/Batman #22, I think ...doesnt come on until August...

House of M just doesn't appeal to me at all, but that's mostly because I feel that Marvel is doing whatever they can to make the X-Men as shitty as possible. Ultimate and Astonishing are the only books I like and I keep asking myself why i keep getting the other books. I keep waiting for things to pick up, or shit, have ANYTHING of value happen, and it just doesn't. I am behind, and once I catch up, I have a feeling I just may start saving myself some money.

That storyline started in Superman/Batman #20. I have it, it's good stuff. Superman/Batman is my fav DC book.

Whatever, I like gimmicks, so it seems interesting for me.

I read the first few issues of Ultimate Spiderman last night. It's pretty cool, now I'm looking forward to the game.

I'd love to get caught up on this series, but there is NO WAY I'm buying 12 TPBs of it. If anyone knows of an "alternate" means of reading these comics, PM me.

I'm having a hard time collecting MU as the series is already sold out in parts 1-2 already. (had to make orders on ebay for proper covers, blah). What I'm trying to figure out is if this series is directly connected to megacity 909 or is it stand alone? I know it's done by the same artist, so the art is pretty good.

I got the softcover version the other day, and I think it's a really unique look at the early Marvel Universe.

If I would've known about the Hardcover version, I would've gotten that one though.
