Think you're quick?

I've been following this site for over a year now. It's pretty rare to see a speedrun that isn't interesting in some way there.

The 16 star mario run through is fucking insane, the shit that guy does is incredible, especially when you consider it's all one run.

The only game I can speedrun in is SMB1. And I'm still not even on par with videos out there. I've got an extra two minutes on my best time. :(

But still, seven minutes with two powerups ain't nothin to laugh at...

I can speedrun some shmups.

A few months ago, I watched part of the Zelda WW run. Christ, I never realized how fucking boring that game is until I saw someone else play it.

A lot of these runs are really cool, especially since they're played by real people in real-time, but I generally prefer to watch these instead:

I'm checking out the 9 minute Castelvania SotN and the 29 minute Metroid now. I was going to do the 22 minute metroid, but that didn't have both boss fights prior to mother brain.

Its not like 1ccing will be much faster than a credit feed completion. Shmups scoll at a set speed, maybe on the bosses you'll be able to take them down quick... Wouldnt call it a speed run though. 1cc yes....

I just assumed it was a joke and every got it.
