It's getting to be too common for me, but I'm either getting a double-cheeseburger w lettuce/mayo, or 2 McChickens with 2 apple pies. I normally don't eat anywhere else beyond mcdonalds because I'm a sucker for their dollar menu.

That said, I refuse to eat anything from McDonalds and avoid beef almost entirely, fast food or not. At Wendy's I get a 5-piece chicken, small or medium fry and a water. I'll eat 2 chicken soft tacos with tomatoes from Taco Bell if I don't have any other options. Not a huge fan of fast food more than 2 or 3 times a month. I also will not drink ANY dark soda other than root beer, and only Sierra Mist other than that. Guess I'm rare in the sense that I really don't like junk food and soda.

I very very VERY rarely eat fast food....but I did tonight. My kitchen has been down for the count as it gets redone, so i've been forced to eat out, and McDonalds was my choice of the night.
3 Burgers and a large fries, of coarse. With a Sprite.
Spicy chicken combo with a raspberry nestea and a junior hamburger for 6.10 pls drive around.
Wow, really? :eek:Quote:

Wendy's #6, the spicy chicken sammich meal.
That is tight right there.
I usually eat at Wendy's more, but now that they raised their Junior Bacon Cheeseburgers to $1.29 (bastards), it's more Rodeo Cheeseburgers or McDonalds for me if I go fast food...
The only place I eat fast food from is In N Out; because they don't use all the chemicals other places do and their stuff is actually fresh meaning that if you watch your fat intake for the rest of the day you've done no harm.
I get a double double, a fry and a medium soda.
You might as well just eat a Big Mac.Quote:

I haven't liked that since they changed the way they make the chicken. It's like eating burned chicken roadkill now.Quote:

I'm glad I don't live in LA, because I would die in exactly 1 year from Fatburger.
I forget I used to favor subway for their spicy chicken, but I quit going there after they raised the price on everything.

I've abstained from fast food for over a year now. Boo on fast food.
Wendy's double cheeseburger, no tomato, $1 fries, and a $1 fruit punch Hi-C
Taco Bell grande soft tacox2 and bean burrito w/ a baja blast mountain dew or wendys bacon+cheese baked potato and a junior cheeseburger deluxe.
Wendy's spicey chicken with a side of chili.
I miss the Wild Mountain style chicken sandwich they had for a while. I thought it was a lot better.
Lots of haters in here, eh!
Oh well, whatever looks good I get. Usually I don't have a 'combo' that I order a lot. Except for Subway which I always get the Chicken Bacon Ranch club.
At McDonalds, I just get whatever I feel like on that day. Nothing specific.
Now though, I go to Tim Horton's a lot (Canadian) and get their sandwiches for lunch instead of fast food. They just taste good and don't cost too much.
I notice fast food at least in Canada is expensive now. It used to be much cheaper but even McDonalds has gone up 1-3$ in recent years.
If you live on the west coast, I see no point in eating hamburgers from anywhere but In N Out.
(best fast-food french fries as well)
But I don't have that very often. I do grab burritos from taquerias about 2-3 times a week, though.
Yeah, In N Out is good. Like really good. But you get sick of it if you have it everytime you just want some fast food.
I'm partial to the spicy tendercrisp chicken sandwich at Burger King.
I used to eat a Dunkin Donuts steak, egg and cheese sandwich 2-3 mornings a week, it was delicious but I think it was starting to kill me, so I stopped. Nowadays the only fast food I ever really eat anymore is Taco Bell. We have Wendys, McDonalds, and Burger King here but I don't really desire them often, I can't recall the last time I've eaten at once, but I like to take the ride out to Taco Bell just to get a 1/2 lb beef and potato burrito. Those things are fucking awesome. I also like Baja Blast a good deal, so it's worth the trip. Someday I need to figure out a way to smuggle in an empty 2 liter bottle and fill it with that shit.
The one at BU is a Taco Bell/Pizza Hut, too. Sometimes I like to throw an order of breadsticks in for the hell of it.
We have a KFC in Cambridge, supposedly, but I've never seen it. I miss their food every now and then, but I'm going back to PA for a few days on Monday, so I'm probably going to take the 40 minute drive to Chick Fil-A while I'm there. Best chicken sandwiches ever. Expensive, but they're great. The waffle fries aren't bad, either.
Quiznos counts as fast food, right? I love to eat there, but I can't afford it that often. I have been eating the same sandwich there for a ridiculously long amount of time and I have no desire to try a new one.
Well, I'm strictly talking about when I want a no-bullshit hamburger.Quote:

I'm approaching half a year without any sort of fast food now. The last combos I got back then were the cheeseburger combo, animal style, at In 'n' Out and the spicy chicken combo at Wendy's. Those were my favorites.
Taco Bell: Chalupa (what's cheapest), Burrito (What's cheapest), and a cup of rice and cheese.
Firehouse: My favorite sub place. I usually get a New York Steamer (basically, corned beef and provolone and all the fixins') with plain fritos. I dip the fritos in mustard and the sandwich in whatever hot sauce I grab off the counter.
I remember Quiznos getting a lot of praise in these parts; I simply don't think they're that great. It cost me like $8.50 for a small Southwest Bacon Cheddar (or whatever it's called) combo. That's about $2.00 more than any other sub shop around here, and the sandwich seemed like it was seasoned with about a cup of salt and paprika.
Wendy's: I usually go at night with friends, so I just get a 5-piece nugget meal and their 99 cent fries and drink.
I will still eat them occasionally, but you are 100% correct.Quote:

My favorite combo is Two spicy chicken sandwiches and a medium frosty.
Does Subway count as fast food or more of a deli? Obviously the meats and cheeses aren't cut right there, but more like the packaged meat from the grocery store.
omg I know! :eep: All those calories and genetically altered cattle and chickens!Quote:

You only live once... or so we think.. so I'm gonna eat what I feel like. In moderation of course.
I'm just gonna real quick say that it's painful to see all of you people mentioning Taco Bell as a favorite. Taco Bell's gotta be the cheapest lube job franchise in the US. Good taco sauce, tho.
In-N-Out -- One hamburger with grilled onions, fries, and a chocolate shake.
Thats really the key. Unless youre trying to enter a bodybuilding competition it really is alright to eat fast food in moderation. Its not good for you, but eating it once isnt gonna kill you. As for me, I barely eat it now that Im out of college, but if Im stuck and hungry Ill go get it. Although if there's a Subway or a food store Id rather get a sandwich.Quote:

Not exactly. The problem was from all of the sugar and preserves they put in their food. At a restaurant he could order some nice wine, a steak (all beef, which is infinitely better for you) and some nice green beans and carrots. It would be better for him than eating two big macs.Quote:

If KFC counts as fast food, then KFC > everything.
Wow, another fast food thread.
Honestly, this thread wouldnt be big enough to house my likes in the realm of fastfood as I eat everywhere and anywhere....Almost anywhere. Chik-Fill-A gets the big :td: from me right now. Some co-workers picked up some food from there tonight for all of us - I paid $5 for a combo meal with shitty tasting waffle fries, a drink, and the lamest looking chicken sandwich I've ever seen -- It was basically a filet,a bun and a pickle. Fuck Chik-Fil-A up the ass, they wont see my business again.
Now Zaxby's - THAT'S the way you do chicken, $5 will buy me a good sized chicken finger meal, with Texas Toast,Coleslaw, and a drink, and I always have leftovers with that. And Boston Market has some ridiculously good chicken, too.
B3 (Chicken fingers and Boneless spareribs)with Pork fried rice without onions, and a eggroll. $4.95
from the local chineese food place near my work.
Yeah, it counts as fast food. Just not Food.Quote:

I think a good sandwich from Tim Horton's tastes better than most hamburgers I get at McDonalds or Wendys anyways. It's more satisfying and doesn't leave me with the feeling that I just ate a freaking lump of grease.
There's a Belle Province (Spruce Beer, steamy hotdogs and greasy fries kind of place) right in front of the gourmet place I work at. I only eat at BP on Monday's, and usually every 2 weeks, since there's a fifth of the co-workers at my work and I won't have to hear all the nagging from chefs and etc. Or at least a fifth of the nagging. Any other day I'll eat some really healthy, refreshing food, if that sounds right.Quote:

Who gives a shit. Eating 6 of them doesn't hurt me, so why do I care if it has chemicals in it?
Last time I checked, I brushed my teeth with things that could put me in a coma if consumed at high volumes... so who cares.
Eat in moderation. That's the key. Not making yourself some sort of fast food nazi.

I never claimed I know it all..... I look like my avatar picture. I'm not fat and I'm not skinny.
I just know that a lot of people exaggerate shit. Am I going to die for eating McDonalds chicken nuggets once and a while? Probably not.
If I ate it like tubby in the picture, yeah I probably would but I don't. Hell, like I said I'd rather a sandwich or homemade burgers.
I don't have everything figured out. I just know that if you don't eat like your face is an endless hole, you won't have problems.
On a side note: That kid's going to die young, if he hasn't already. His parents should be killed.
If I feel like having a burger I just go to the local diner. It's tastier and hasn't been spit on by underpaid highschool dropouts.
There's a sense of security when you see food cooked right in front of you.
Being overweight isn't exactly always bad for you though. Wasn't that article posted on TNL. A new 'study' pointed that out.
I wanna do my own studies. Sounds like there is a lot of these 'studies'. One even said ketchup was good for you now.
Must be a black thing.Quote:

I've eaten at McDonalds ONCE in the last 9 months, and thats only because my then-girlfriend demanded that we get Carls Jr.
In N Out, though, does not count. Opaque and I have gotten ordering and pricing down to a science over there. We eat there just about every tuesday and most thursdays.
<3 2x2
Edit-
Also, for those of you on a budget, my buddy Andrew and I devised what we call "Minority Tuesday." On tuesday, several fast food places have meal specials:
Mcdonalds: $0.25 hamburgers
Del Taco: 3 tacos for a buck
Church's Chicken: 2 pieces for a buck
I'd go futher into explaining this, but the mods might get mad. :bang:
With summer up and coming, my favorite is the Vanilla ice cream/French fry combo, from Sonic.
Scrumptious, when dipped.
That study was flawed in that it used the BMI to measure how "fat" you are. There are people who measure overweight by the BMI but thats because they work out a lot and have a lot of muscle. Likewise, there are people who are just kinda fat but exercise a lot, and live a healthy lifestyle. Its just genetic, kinda. Someone who exercises and eats right but has some extra pounds will live longer than someone who is rail-thin but just sits around playing videogames all day.Quote:

As I'm reading this I am sitting down to a scrumptious Taco Bell meal that consists of a Taco Supreme, Chili Cheese Burrito and a Chicken Quesadilla. Yum.
One of my sauce packs says "I M A HOT T R U 2?"
The only fast food things i eat are the bacon double cheeseburger meal at burger king, the double cheese burger (£1 each! woohoo! cheap and cheerful!) and mcdonanalds and the 2 piece chicken meal from KFC. I absolutly adore KFC nicest take away ever!
I like dipping Wendy's fries into the Frosties. It's hot, cold, sweet, salty, creamy and starchy all at the same time.
You know, I always knew you were the kind of girl who wanted it hot, cold, sweet, salty, creamy and starchy all at the same time.
I havent had fast food in ages
once every 6 months I may have a wendys jr bacon cheeseburger but thats about it
only thing I have maybe once or twice a week is a sandwhich from Subway since its right by where I work, but thats nothing compared to the shit thats in most fast good places
I like the #5 at Wendy's. It's a grilled chicken sandwich with fries.
Always been a fan of Roman Burgers from Mr. Hero myself, a little
more $$$, but well worth it.
I didn't read this whole thread but now matter what fast food joint you name, none can touch Whataburger in awesomeness. You stoners can have your White Castle and giggle about Mini Burgers and Harold & Kumar and whatever the fuck else because I don't care. I have with me, at this moment, a Triple Meat Triple Cheese Whataburger Meal (with fries and drink, a DP) and it owns your ass. You. The reader.

Usually, I take these home and drink them with a glass or 2 of water. Cheaper, and offsets the unhealthiness everso slightly.
McDonalds: Generally pure shit, I won't touch the burgers if you pay me. Crispy chicken, mayo only, fries. Will not get anything else on the menu. Mostly, I'm hatin' it.
Burger King: Two cheese hockey pucks, no fries. Or original chicken sandwich with fries. The tendercrisp is almost too greasy for me. The Hootie sandwich IS too greasy. Their breakfast menu is #1. Yes, I have had an Enormis Omelette Sandwich, and it is indeed, the worst thing you could ever eat, healthwise. I did not eat anything for the rest of the day after that monster.
Wendy's: #6, mayo/cheese only, fries, chicken nuggets, or chicken strips in place of the sandwich.
Taco Bell: 2 baja chalupas, no lettuce, no tomato, mt. dew is required. I'm open to most of the rest of the menu as well.
KFC: Popcorn chicken or 2 of their new snacker sandwiches, macaroni & cheese. Sometimes the chicken strips, sometimes the twister wrap.
Chik-Fil-A rules and In-n-Out rock, but are nowhere near me. I agree with Yoshi, the best chicken sandwich is at Chik-Fil-A. The best burger is In-N-Out.
You'd have to pay me to eat at Church's or Boston Market. Quizno's is too overpriced, but the Spicy Monterey is good. Subway/Blimpie, just throw meat and cheese on and toast it, and I'm sold. Popeye's, when I can find it, I usually just get a large cajun rice and drink. Pizza Hut is too greasy, even for me, and Domino's is borderline. Their new cheeseburger pizza is really good, otherwise I go with the chicken kickers or thin crust pizza, and those kind of suck.
Whataburger is good when you're drunk, but it comes nowhere close to Fatburger in LA or Burgerhouse in Dallas. Still about 1000x better than McDonald's or Burger King, tho.Quote:
