Smackdown vs. RAW 2 not to be shown at E3

The title and description say it all.... THQ feels that if they show the game AFTER E3 it will have more of an impact... I say it's just BS because they haven't done shit on the game yet. One thing's for sure, I won't stand for another "transition year." Here's what we need

We need more match types... Parking Lot brawl shouldn't be a match type, it should be one of the MANY (yes MANY) backstage areas... go back to Here Comes the Pain with the multiple areas you can go to backstage, not just one big one you START in. You need to be able to rumble around. Also, add things like Burried Alive, Inferno, weapon on a pole... they said they wanted to focus on current matches, but wasn't there a Burried Alive in the last year? Also, they give us legends, give us legend type matches. Also, barbed wire cage like Big Show had with JBL... and one last thing for match types... fix the goddamn Hell in a Cell so it's not a 1 foot moving space outside the ring.

Make CAW and the targeting as it was in HCtP... These two aspects seemed to take a step back in the last game. CAW had less options and was more cumbersome, and the targeting always switched at the worst times.

Finally, something that would be nice is if you have legs damaged, your wrestler should move slower, even have a limp. That kind of selling would be great, and really add to the matches. While on the subject, instead of the submission being for "legs" it should be "right leg" or "left leg" keep it separate.

PS, minor gripe... I liked it better when it was referred to as "heel" and "face" meters in the previews, not "clean" and "dirty."

They should retitle the game WWE '06 or something.

The clean and dirty meters were ridiculous. Add a tilt meter to the Royal Rumble like Tony Hawks grinding one. Carlito better be in it.

Yes, it will probably look like ass compared to the amazing shit we'll see at this years E3, so I suppose it will have more of an 'impact' in a vacuum.

It would also be nice if you could fake those injuries, at least against human opponents.

You could fake injuries in No Mercy just by holding the analog stick and playing possum. The SD series is Yukes' worst, so I'm glad it won't be shown at E3. I'd much rather it just die, actually. I do think they need to separate the arms and legs for damage though, it's one of the glaring logic flaws that all wrestling games have.

I wish wrestling games would go away for more than just this E3.

Actually, believe it or not, Wrestlemania 21 on Xbox has side specific damage. Of course, I've noticed that if you work on one leg for a while with the same move it'll change color, but then did a different move that worked on another leg, it would go back to being gray and not yellow...but that's beside the point :)

The No Mercy playing possum is also a great idea, I forgot about that. As for not liking the clean/dirty, I felt that was the best addition (not that there were many) to last year's game, and all my friends loved it. From that point on, whenever we play a different wrestling game (DoR, Wm21) they ask where the "clean/dirty" meter is.

They need a whole lot of new characters. MNM, Eugene, Paul London, Carlito, Heidenreich, Snitsky, Christy, Akio, Rosey, etc. It's not like the old days of WWE and WCW where there were so many dudes that you couldn't fit all of them into the game. The current WWE roster is a lot smaller, and they need to represent it fully.

NEW FUCKING ANIMATIONS PLEASE!!! Put in TNA moves so we can do cool CAws. I'm talkin' Styles Clash, Angel Wings, Canadian Destroyer, Black Hole Slam, etc.

Backstage should be handled like it was in HCTP. The different sets need to be more interactive (like how you could climb the Smackdown fist in one of the old games). I loved running on a treadmill to build up my Special meter in HCTP.

The Royal Rumble balance meter thing is a good idea. You should also be able to edit wrestler stats without cloning them, because as much as I love Garrison Cade, I never use him because his power is like, 54 whereas Taker and HHH are both in the 90's.

DOWNLOADABLE CONTENET like Firepro D had.

Createable and defendable belts need to be in (from WM21) but they need to be totally revamped. I'll tell you more about my ideas later.

SvR had the Syles Clash, actually... but other than that, you're right. The game should also have the profiles that WM21 has, because the belt defense setup in SvR is crap. Also, you should be able to do title defenses with more than 2 people in the match.
