Yeah, cool looking, but what games would there be to play on it? If such a thing was real, I imagine they'd sell roughly 3 of them.
Give it gba compatability, and use the same gc discs and it'd probably do ok.
It looks awful and awkward.

If Nintendo can somehow make a portable Gamecube, then it will benefit them in terms of third-party support because the tools to make the portable Gamecube games have already been made and optimized (even if third parties haven't developed Gamecube games lately). Hell, those tools could probably be obtained at a huge discount due to the sorry current state of the Gamecube.
Someone enlighten me what all that data readout crap and play/stop controls and stuff on the outside of the cover are needed for because I'm lost. Not only is this "likely a concept design", it's a shitty amateur one too.
