Last week, I spent $320 on an overnight trip to Albany, NY to see a friend I'd only known via letters, e-mail, IMs, photos, and phone conversations for eight years.
Wicked fun.
This week, I finished the business plan for my venture, and, according to an outside opinion familiar with start-ups and small business, it's solid as hell.
Fantastic.
Next week, my first year of college will be finished, and I will have learned that it all boils down to hard work and dedication. And that I've only got enough of both, in regards to college, to get by. I failed my first class, ever. But, I handled myself well in the others. And my Facebook is steadily gaining a list of good friends.
At least I got to do a speech advocating the virtues of communism.
Perfect.
This summer, the new venture gets underway with the filming of a movie, followed by the creation of a cartoon series, tailed by the production of a comic, and overseen by the development of a video game.
Praise the saints.
It's the year where everything seems to be coming together, and thank God for that. Life's back on track, and I couldn't be happier.
How's everyone else doing?
