Next Generation magazine returning.

I want "The_Meach Brand of Art" requirements list. Bulleted preferably.

I will contend that there is little good reason to say Rez is not art, even if it is only because it is an emulation in a wholy new medium of past art with its own brand and interpertation.

Maybe it wasn't art then, but it is art now?

If a signed and notarized statement by an artist, to the effect that he intended to make a statement about the human condition, is necessary for something to be art, then where are they for all of the pieces previously mentioned in the thread? Or do you just "make it up" that the artist intended for it to make a statement?

I was talking to someone, I forget who, a few days ago, in the abortion thread. Oh, wait, it was Cowutopia. Anyway, he was making really stupid, idiotic comments and I challenged him on them. At one point, I said something like, "Im sick of reading trash like this from people who think they know what theyre talking about but really are clueless". And The_Meach said, "I agree".
