About time, yes?
Anywho, my brother bought it and DMC. I know there's plenty to get on the system, but what would be a good rental until I paid next week? FFX? Klonoa 2? Yanya Caballista? Parrapa 2? Gimme some insight ^_^

GTA 3 is the best game on the system.
So skip the rental of it and buy it when you can.
Twisted Metal Black or Drakan would be a cool rental. But DMC should suffice for now though, man I really want one.
ICO!

Rez.
I don't have a PS2 yet, but I'll be sure to get Rez when I do.
Don't forget Britney's Dancing Game!:)
Short life span but I'd don't regret buying it. It's great to play around with every once in awhile. It's your choice. You can easily beat it in a rental, but it's great to retry the puzzles again later on.
Try renting: Onimusha, TM:Black, ICO, MGS2 (if you're only mildly interested), Maximo, or FFX (only if you have a mild interest in it). Of course, the games above in the greatest hits, you can just buy for $20. Hehe.
On another note, I ordered a Gamecube and it should be arriving soon!
Good job Hero :)
Well, check out GTA3, MGS2, REZ, VF4 and Shadow Hearts for some PS2 gaming goodness.
Good to hear that you allready got DMC, so I hope you will have a great time with it. Enjoy your PS2, more of great things are coming to it.
No shit... it's rad.Quote:

I'm sure you have already heard about the deals at KB Toys. You can pick up titles like MGS2 for $25, SSX Tricky fo $20, Parappa the Rappa 2 for $15, and about a dozen other titles. I picked up State of Emergency for $15. 3 rentals pays for most of those games.
reminds me of when I first got my PS2 last december just to try out Devil May Cry (the -REAL- reason to own PS2). sadly after that, I ended up going crazy and bought GCN, XBOX and tomorrow, I'll be after my wegatv... no wonder I'm always broke!
I don't own a PS2, but I've really enjoyed playing the following PS2 games when I've had the chance to...
Armored Core 2
Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil
Metal Gear Solid 2
WipEout Fusion
Virtua Fighter IV
just buy GTA3 its all you need
Forget GTA3. You, sir, NEED Gitaroo Man. Easily the best game on the console.
klonoa 2, ico, msg2, ffx, gta3, gran turismo 3, vf4
congrats on your purchase.
Where's the Maximo love? gotta grab that.
Rez, too
All my friends love it, but I can't stand GTA3, so I can't personally recommend it. However, the games I can recommend are:
VF4, CvS2 ($39.99), Hot Shots Golf 3, Rez, Ico ($29), Maximo ($29), Klonoa 2 (cheap, too), and RRV.
You already know about DMC.
Good purchase, btw.
yeah, i REALLY tried to love GTA3 but that camera when you weild a gun is too damn epileptic for my tastes.
I'll put my vote in for Hot Shots Golf 3. It's really easy to get into and has lots of stuff to unlock to keep you busy. RRV? Eek...was that a dissapointment. Then again, I've only been a mild fan of the RR series. I say rent Jak and Daxter. It's is a beautiful game and for the time I rented it, I had a great time, and got pretty far (it's pretty easy).
Took the words right out of my mouth.Quote:
