No to all of the above. Fact is, we have no idea what Xbox 360 is capable of right now, especially since all we've seen are a few screenshots of a few *launch* games.

Agreed, it is very difficult to judge how much power you are going to be able to squeeze out of a console in the long run. But still, compare the jump between earlier console launch titles. Look at Super Mario Bros. (technically not a launch title but whatever) next to Super Mario World. Or Ridge Racer to Ridge Racer V.

You know, I'm really not looking forward to seeing avatars of butcheeks, shclongs, and pimply nerdy people on Live come to think of it. I think if Microsoft did away with the camera and knocked a couple of bucks of the system price I would be happy.

Like I said, I think these screenshots look very underwhelming. But still, its probably gonna be the best looking 3D fighter ever by a large margin, and lets face it, killer graphics work isnt being done in the fighting realm anymore. And the game will probably look a lot different in HDTV and whatever.

So, in other words, I am saying that in addition to what I said before, this game isnt gonna tell us a whole lot about the potential of the system. I would say Oblivion, PGR3, and Perfect Dark Zero are better indicators (especially since we can compare Oblivion to Jade Empire, PGR3 to GT4/Forza, PD0 to HL2/Doom3). I might be wrong, though.

Insert credit had a report on this a year ago.

I'm not a DOA fan or anything but those shots look marginally better than the latest DOA games so at least it's consistent with a few tweaks graphically.

I probably won't be buying the game anyway so *shrug*
