Actually they sold the most units here. However nintendo has a better ratio of units sold/consumers in japan.

Every Revolution Game We Know About
A comprehensive list of titles in development for Nintendo's 'new generation' console.
by Matt Casamassina
I'm all for original titles out the door but not having Mario at launch could be near fatal this time considering what a detriment it was for the GC launch. Not saying possible $150, SSB wifi and Prime 3 isn't appealing mind you (then again we obviously can't be sure Metroid will be at launch either)Quote:
Super Mario Revolution
Status: Exclusive
Developer: Nintendo

Sometimes referred to as Mario 128, Super Mario Revolution is the codename for the next true iteration of Nintendo's famous franchise. Nothing about the game is yet known, except that it is in development and considered to be a top priority for Nintendo. Nintendo's official Revolution controller teaser trailer showcased a sequence in which a woman moved the controller up and down to make Mario jump. That being true, it is unlikely that such a simple and untested mechanic would provide the backbone for such a major new project. At this time, we do not believe it will launch with the console later this year.
As long as the new Star Tropics is on time, i don't think Nintendo will have to worry about anything.
Reggie (from Nintendo Maniacs Magazine)-
NM- So what do you have to say with the possibility of no Mario at launch? Some say the Gamecube suffered because of just that.
Reggie-You can say anything you want about the Revolution, and I'll respond with one game: Star Tropics R3: Mike's Legend. It'll use the controller in ways you couldn't even imagine if you were eating the same mushrooms Mario eats. (laughs) Nothing that Microsoft or Sony can throw at us will possibly be near the level of in your mother-fucking face, shit your pants awesomenocisicity, you fucking bitches. Whores.
NM- Wow. So what do you have to say about the claims that the Revolution is weaker than the last generation's XBox?
R- FUCK YOU! NO, GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE! YOU GO TO HELL! YOU GO TO HELL!
Dooood, did he really say that? Dawg, dat be some messed up shit! He be like cursing and all, man. Das wack comin' from Nintendy. Can't wait for that Star Tropics sheit. Mario who?
You're lame.Quote:
